Wireless network applicatioNS as a result of the rapid development of wireless network in a reliable data traNSmission has become an important research topic. The Internet TCP protocol is the most widely used data traNSfer protocol, but because wireless links with different characteristics of wired links, TCP protocol used in wireless network performance dropped significantly. TCP protocol to improve effective to apply to become a highly efficient and reliable wireless network for data traNSmission core technology. In this paper, the agreement of the TCP Friendly congestion control mechanisms, and algorithms to improve its wireless network in the congestion control mechanisms. The main research contents are as follows:Details on a variety of wireless network congestion control technologies, including wireless network data link layer, connecting sub-mechanisms, end-to-end technology, and multi-layer congestion control technology, discusses the causes of network congestion and impact.A brief description of the TCP and TCP-Friendly protocol (TCP-Friendly) concept of the existing TCP-Friendly congestion control mechanism of classification, and describes some typical TCP Friendly congestion control mechanisms.TFRC-based algorithm is proposed for wireless networks, TCP Friendly congestion control mechanism:DW-TFRC. The mechanism errors of the wireless environment from the error, switch/connection disruption caused by the impact of packet loss on the traNSmission, the actual wireless link error control their out-of-order packets caused by the performance of the algorithm to coNSider the impact to solve the TFRC algorithm in wireless environment because they can not correctly distinguish between congestion and wireless packet loss performance degradation caused by packet loss problem. NS2 simulation results through a new congestion control mechanism DW-TFRC can more accurately distinguish congestion and wireless packet loss error packet loss, while maintaining TCP-friendliness, based on the increased network throughput, and enhance the sending rate of the smooth, and show that the mechanism of TFRC in terms of performance compared to the advantages.
