Research Of Data Extraction Transformation And Loading System In Data Warehouse

Data extraction, transformation and loading is an effective program which solving consistency and integration of heterogeneous data, ETL integrates data with uniform rules and completes conversion of data from data source to the target data warehouse. At first, the paper discusses the basic theory of data warehouse and ETL theory; and then the article takes transformer state analysis system of electricity company as the research background, carries out the design of transformer test information data warehouse, including data warehouse concept design, logic design and physics design, aiming at data sources and data warehouse of electricity company achieves the program design of ETL system, conducts detailed analysis on the function and design of the various parts in ETL system; finally, the thesis uses word extraction module based on PowerBuilder to implement data extraction from word document, implements data warehouse and ETL process with Oracle Warehouse Builder, including the establishment of source database, destination data warehouse, table, dimension, fact table, mapping,the deployment and execution of ETL process.
