The thesis mainly researches and designs the system of electricity based on the single-chip microcomputer used in students'mansions. The system consists of the sub-system controlled electricity, the sub-system selled electricity and the sub-system managed with the computer. The main functions of the system are sampling data, calculating, displaying, storing, querying and printing the quantity of electricity consumption, prepaying the fee of electricity consumption, etc.The system can change the confused state of electricity used in students'mansions at present and solve the difficulty of charging electricity fee.The system uses the method—combination of each units. Firstly we divide the whole system into three sub-systems. Secondly we divide the sub-systems into many function modules. In this case when there is something wrong with the system, we can repair it easily.The system uses ADE7755, which is of low power, high measure precision and reliability. Its technical standard is over IEC1036. The electricity energy is eaqual to the numer of electronic pulses. The use of ADE7755 simplifies the calculation of quantity of electricity consumption with the single-chip microcomputer. The system uses IC card technology to prepay the fee of electricity consumption. We write the data of prepaid electricity consumption into IC card. The sub-system selled electricity reads the data of prepaid electricity consumption from IC card firstly, then pass them the AT89S52 of sub-system controled electricity by RS-485 interface .When the prepaid electricity is exhausted, the AT89S52 controls the open of BST902. The customer purchases it again.The communication of the sub-system managed with computer and the sub-system controled electricity, the commmunication of the sub-syetem selled electricity and the sub-system controled electricity use RS-485 interface. So we can make long distance and reliable communication .The system fulfills the functions in advance. The structure of the system is reasonable. The system works stably and securely. It is very worth of generalization and application.
