Research On SOA-Based Enterprise Application Integration Implemented By Web Services

Enterprises have established several information systems for different departments these years.These information systems make the management information more accurate and more timely,promote the enterprises using their resources reasonably and optimally.However,these systems are established for different departments and different application,they can't share the business process and information,and can't communicate with each other effectively.Along with the drastic competions,enterprises need to eliminate their "isolated information islands",make different information systems operate independently ,and also collaborate with each other effectively.Integrate different information systems into a whole information environment both innerly and externally.EAI has become a hotspot in enterprise information systems recently.EAI is a sum-up of enterprise information systems.The appearance of EAI is to solve the problems of "isolated information islands".With EAI,enterprise can reduce its interfaces effectively,and make a bridge among its information systems.EAI make enterprises operate smoothly and improve the integration capacity among its information systems.The traditional pattern of EAI, which is tightly coupled, can not adapt to current business situation, we need more effiecient and flexible way of integrating systems to satisfy the requirement of dynamic e-Business.The appearance of SOA and Web Services make the "service-orientd" character of EAI come out gradually.So in the future,EAI will be service-orientd and it will be a big progress compared to interface-oriented systems.At first,we describe the conception of EAI,including the history,the integration layer structure,then we analyze the functions of modern integration technology in EAI,including middleware, SOA and Web Services,and the relationships among them.Based on the things we've introduced and improvement of the research of other academician on SOA-based EAI ,we bring forward an integration model based on SOA,and realize this model.At last,we illustrate that the model will perform effectively in enterprise information systems integration with an application instance and gave some suggestions on implementing SOA-based EAI in enterprises.
