How to realize underwater multi-target orientation and tracking technique has become a key point to satisfy the requirement of new type underwater homing vehicle. It is an important problem to be resolved. Design and development of underwater multi-target simulated signal generator can provide theoretic gist and substance guarantee to firmly improve the development of multi-target orientation and tracking technology and water tank experiment. In this thesis, based on underwater acoustic echo model commonly used by torpedo homing system, and considered multi-target orientation and tracking tank experiment and multi-target underwater acoustic echo simulated system, underwater multi-target simulated signal generator which is main apparatus of the multi-target orientation and tracking laboratory system has been designed and developed. Now it has been used in the laboratory.Research work and achievements that had done in the thesis are summarized as follow:(1) Underwater acoustic echo models commonly used by torpedo homing system are described from the view of parameter estimation and multi-target multi-parameter underwater acoustic echo model. Based on firmly analyzing them, the relative parameter control and their realization in multi-target simulated signal generator and multi-target water tank experiment system are presented.(2) Based on firmly studying the frame of multi-target orientation and tracking water tank experiment system and multi-target underwater acoustic echo simulated system, the performance parameter and technology requirement of multi-target signal generator are presented. The engineering realization is discussed. The frame of hardware system is design as well as the hardware is realized. In order to conveniently design and debug signal generator, the entire hardware is composed of signal generating circuit and signal processing circuit, and their hardware frame and engineering realization are designed.(3) After compartmentalizing circuit module and selecting main ICs, the hardware circuit modules of signal generating circuit board and signal processing circuit board are designed.
