Presently the radar and the identificator of friend or foe in domestic are two separate systems to each other, and the timing sequence control of radar is also independent from the one of the identificator of friend or foe. The paper discussed radar and identificator of friend or foe sharing transceiver, antenna and control system. It developed a timing sequence control system for better coordination between radar and identificator of friend or foe in operating time sequence. CPCI bus is the one with high performance based on the standard PCI electrical specification and a new open standard of industrial computer.By the system requirement on timing sequence, the paper proposed a design of sequence control board based on CPCI bus on the platform of Linux. A design project of radar timing sequence system is proposed in the paper; the timing sequence control board is described from hardware design, CPLD design, PCB design and drive program control. Passing through the test, the timing sequence control board proved it meets the radar system requirement.
