Confronted with the tide of globalization and the impact of the personal buyers' market, more and more enterprises realized that to quickly configurate the products so as to meet the different customer demands in the fast changing market and win more customers will become the focus of the future competitions between enterprises. The core of the product configuration problem is the method; the constraint-based product configuration method focuses on the reaserch of CSP (Constraint Satisfaction Problem). Since CSP framework has the advantage of unspecialized domain and simple to use, moreover, with its mature resolving technology, it comes to be the widely studied approach. While, currently the study of CSP is generally limited to Binary CSP, However, product configuration knowledge contains a lot of non-binary constraint in practice of product configuration, and Binary CSP can't describe the product constraint directly and flexibly. Indeed, we can transfer the non-binary constraint CSP to the equivalent binary-constriant one, but the represented knowledge cannot be described directly and the efficiency of problem solving will be reduced due to the process of transmission, thus to restrict the applications based on CSP product configuration method.
