Context Fusion If Smart Community

Context-aware is one of key technology of pervasive computing. Smart community is one kind of typical pervasive computing environment. Smart community is composed of several smart spaces, and so contexts in every smart space need to be fused. Context fusion in smart community needs cross-space interaction and resource access. In order to resolve the problem we, based on context share and context fusion, research in modeling smart community with ontology technology, define a context fusion process language, implement a context fusion method based on knowledge share and logic inference, and design a system architecture of context fusion middleware in smart community.Every smart space in smart community is relatively stand-alone, and when modeling smart space, we organize ontology by different domain. Context ontology is important part of context knowledge base, and the base of context fusion. Context fusion process language including context fusion operation composition and context fusion operation, is used to model context fusion process. Context fusion process language disjoins fusion logic and data processing, increases the reusability, and simplifies the development of context-aware application. Context fusion operation is used to implement concrete context processing, and this paper uses context knowledge share and logic inference to implement it, logic inference combines first order logic and description logic. Cross-space interaction and resource access need obtain context and context knowledge from other smart spaces, and so we design a context and context knowledge share protocol. This protocol shields low-level communication operation. Every smart space in smart community interacts and accesses resources by context fusion middleware. Context fusion middleware includes context knowledge base, context share protocol and context fusion module.
