SMT is the main stream technology of printed circuit board product nowadays. Among many equipments in the production line of the constitution surface mount, paste to pack machine is completes paste to pack the duty of the core equipment. Meanwhile, the piece component paste also is the whole production line most costs the time the process. Therefore the essential equipment of PCB– paste to pack machine paste to pack the simulation one of key ways to become the enhancement production efficiency and to reduce cost.This paper use Siemens's S20-FP as an example. It is crucial in its SMT production line , the most complex NC equipment - paste to pack machine paste to pack emulate to study. First, summing up developing the foundation of present situation for FMS and SMT research; second, the analysis of the outer and internal of the paste to pack machine level structure, in the environment of 3DMAX make the three-dimensional modeling; third, the analysis of file structures of 3DS, provide a method of using 3DS file in OpenGL; Finally the thesis establishes a practical simulation environment of manufacturability, implements dynamic simulation of SMT.The study in this paper is an example of the emulation study of the Virtual Manufacturing,. Provided the essential help to the SMT production of the earlier prepare work and the earlier prepare time is shorten the design of production. It is practical and can serve as a reference for the exploration of such products and provided the foundation of continuous development.The optimization paste to pack machine and the vision systemic further studies.
