In the handheld mobile communication terminal development career, the product is not only a voice-only handset , but a tool with many use such as audio player or video player and also network connection. The musical handphone, smartphone which has its own operating system and the muti-media handset orienting to mutil-media application show us the advanced communication techonologies. The dominating system architectures of these products, which are relative to the property, include sigle processor,dual-processors and even muti-processors.The choice of hardware system architecture, schematic design and the low-level software costruction are important steps in the product development process. Hardware platform is the base of the system which limits the software's development to a great extent. This paper based on the author's practical development experiences, details some important elements desiring consideration in the dual-processors mobile terminal system integration in physical layer such as how to choose the system architecture, how to inter-connect so many chips with perfect power group organization and interface power level deployment and also some basic low-level communication protocols between master processor and co-processor or other blocks. All the steps of a communication terminal development include mould manufacture, three dimension architect, schematic design,PCB layout,SMT in the factory and the integration of hardware and software. This paper discusses and also abstracts the key steps and techniques which are valuable experiences for future use of physical integration of these products.
