Constructing Network Examination System Based On Browser/Server Model

With the popularization and application of the network technology in all fields, the examination based on network has already become a research subject payed much more attention in the education field. Through in-depth investigation and analysis, we proposed an idea to better it in this paper. Regarding items response theory as guidance, started from the design principle and the characteristics of the network examination, detailedly discussed key techniques and realizational course of constructing network examination system based on Browser/Server model. then constructd network examination system based on Browser/Server model. Finally we realized a corresponding network examination system, and it has made better result in such aspects as individuation, interaction, adaptability.This article introduced the background of this subject and the design principle and the theories of the network examination system, analyzed the status of current network examination,put forward the primary content of the subject. Then it introduced the key technique , taken Windows2000 + IIS5.0 + ASP + SQL Server2000 as an example , detailedly discussed the design of database,test questions,downstage examinee test part and backstage system management part. Finally, because of the special of the system, put forward the safety and the confidentiality of the data specially.This network examination system can satisfy the examinee of any authorization to examine at any time and anywhere, and quickly acquire score, which really realizes to examine without paper.It can alleviate teacher's workload consumedly, such as to make out questions,to constitute try book and to modify try book.In conclusion, this paper is only a summary of research and exploration about network examination.
