The BD-2 planet orientation system is a new planet navigation system developed in china. The same with the GPS of America, the GLONASS of Russia and Galileo of Europe, It is part of RNSS (Radio Navigation Satellite System).Recently, the BD-1 has been used, but the BD-2 is been constructing. In order to boost the construction of BD-2, translate the BD-2 system resources into battle effectiveness of the army and exert strong benefit of military and economy, we need to develop many kinds of CPE with full function, advanced technology and reliable quality. It is important sense to the development of military and economy. This paper focuses on realization of the project of CPE in the BD-2 systems.In the design of CPE, we always carry out the idea of Software Radio, use the arithmetic based on the open architecture and embedded systems based on VxWorks, make the best of up-to-date theory of modern signal disposal and wireless communication, and introduce the new electronic technology, such as antenna, RF module, A/D, DSP, FPGA, CPU, embedded operation system and battery.The research done in this thesis work includes the follows: study of the BD planet orientation system and Software Radio technologies, design of embedded VxWoks systems, development of information disposal platform of CPE in the BD-2 systems, transplanting the VxWorks operation system to the PXA255. Finally, the future research topics are also discussed.
