The plant of infrared hardware-in-loop simulation is an efficient test in theresearch and manufacture of infrared guidance missiles systems.The directional mirror servo system is one of servo system of infrared targetsimulator, and consists of direction system and pitch system, namely, it is microtwo-axis turning table that can turn in two directions simultaneously. It is oftenapplied to control motion, following and position accuracy compensation of lightbeam. Also, the light beam can be located preciously by advantage of it. So it isconcluded that the precision of infrared target simulator depends on the precisionof directional mirror system.Firstly, the control scheme is determined according to performance indexes,Due to special mechanical structure of directional mirror system, the preciousmathematic model is obtained by using Lagrange Mechanics equation, thenlinearized and predigested. The decoupled scheme is given and is realized easilyin the industrial region. Secondly, the design of velocity and position loop aredrawn on the basis of main factors that give rise to system error in order to meetthe need in the system steadyand dynamicperformance.Furthermore, adaptive control is applied in velocity control system in thefield of mechanism and electric servo system so that the performance of thecontrolled system can be improved.Finally, the circuit including analogous controller, power and demodulationis designed and debugged. The precision results are given, including not onlysteadyprecision but also dynamic one.
