Flywheel is an important executive component of satellite attitude control system. The improvement of flywheel control system is spurred by high performance satellite attitude control system. But there are some noises and disturbances to flywheel system, such as friction disturbance, speed measure noise, which give errors and disturbances to satellite attitude control system. To solve this problem, appropriate circuit and controller should be designed. Based on the project of"Reaction wheel control system", the design and realization of circuit and controller for flywheel is described and the flywheel control system is deeply and systemically researched in this thesis.Firstly, the dynamic model of flywheel is given and influences of disturbances and noises on flywheel moment are deeply analyzed, friction disturbance and speed measure noise are discussed in detail. Then the flywheel control systems, both in torque mode and speed mode, are designed and simulated. Optimization of the controller indicates that the design of flywheel controller can both relieve the disturbances and fast track the command. Secondly, the outline of flywheel is given. Flywheel control system has two closed loops, the inner is voltage stabilization loop, other is current loop or is speed loop in different mode. Following this, major units of the circuit are introduced in detail, including PWM and voltage stabilization unit, the digital controller, the commutator, the driving of brushless motor, the energy dissipation unit and so on.Then the software algorithm and software interface are introduced. Finally, the test results are given and analyzed and the final results indicate that the flywheel system has higher performance.
