Design & Realization For The Resources Management System Of Transmission Network

The long-distance transmission network developing fast in our country, the network scale larger and larger, and the network topological structure increasingly complicated, the traditional handworked management method has no longer adapted to the current management requirements. Adopting new techniques and means, enhancing the operating level of the transmission network, keeping the service quality on the high level and making our work follow the orbits of fixed-quantification, scientification, automation and modernization have already become the urgent missions of telecommunication industry at present.The Resources Management System for Transmission Network jointly developed by Jilin Provincial Telecommunication Transmission Bureau and Changchun Jincheng Communication Co., Ltd is an equipment & resource database system based on the J2EE (JAVA 2 enterprise version) platform combining the GIS platform (general information system) to structure, adopting B/S (browser and server end) mode to realize, establishing a transmission network infrastructure facing level 1 and level 2 trunk lines for the long-distance transmission line maintaining enterprises, and in the integrated way managing various image information /non-image information and geographic location information of the trunk line transmission network equipments and resources of the whole province. The system has overcome the separation happening when the information system is handling the image data in all these years, combined various information and the geographic locations together, put texts and images incorporate, made them simple and brief, concentratedly used the results of geographic information techniques, computer techniques, database techniques and network techniques and made the data amount managed larger and analyzing capability stronger. It is an effective means of management innovation, technical innovation, and raising work efficiency, economic benefits and competitive ability of telecommunication market for the communication section.
