The optimal production planning is the key part in CIMS, it's very important in the CIMS of process industry. The optimized planning system provides workshop managers with real-time information about the product planning, product tracing resource allocation and so on. It also controls the production process and guarantees the production process in order. The optimized planning system is a bridge that spans and fills up the gap between the planning systems and direct industrial controls. It is becoming an effective method for the product management and the workshop floor control. So the design and implementation of optimized planning system is very important to increase the work efficiency and economic benefit for enterprise.Through the study and analysis of the production situation in Baosteel cold-rolling mill, a planning system is presented in this paper. This system combines the MVC(Model-View-Controller) pattern and the .NET platform, and it is comprised of bell-type batch planning schedule module, cold-rolling mill planning schedule module, system management module. By use of this system, the mutual communication of upper management information and bottom production data becomes true, and has effectively improved the work efficiency of workers, and also strengthened the competitive power.The combination of MVC and .NET makes this system to have the advantages of clear frame, easy maintainability, compatibility, high efficiency, safety and so on. The developing process shows that the use of the MVC, although it needs an additional work, realizes the modularization of the system, debases the coupling, increases the reuse of the code, and makes the frame of system clear and the expansibility better. This paper comprehensively introduces the development objective, function module design, planning basis and method. In the end, the practical application effect is briefly stated to show how this system runs on the spot.
