Recently, based on the development of the knowledge economic, the issue of management has been changed to the management of knowledge, that is production, development, sharing and education of the knowledge management. It has been the most important things with an enterprise's activity. Knowledge management, distinguish, receiving, unpacked, storage, processing, Sharing, worth protection, is the method that different knowledge could be changed and shared. We can make knowledge productive and capitalism through enforcing productivity. The knowledge's rate of sharing and productivity could be the heart of management. Knowledge management will be one important force in the period of an enterprise's growth.This article focus` on kinds of knowledge management system technology based on the Microsoft's distribute DNA topology. It designs a Windows 2000 OS model to solve these problems through Exchange Server, SQL Server, SharePoint Portal Server, etc. The important technology used by three layer structure, the development of the distribute applications, the problems with data's gathering, searching and graphic system building using XML technology.Knowledge management=( P×T×K ) SP. person who has the knowledge. T. information technology. K. knowledge. One can receive or distribute knowledge through IT, such as Internet. S. power of the knowledge sharing. This means that fast growth of knowledge gathering depend on the meeting between people and knowledge through information technology. So knowledge management couldn't be finished by one person's working but a well organized system gathering environment, IT, culture and person who could do the job.Though technology is not the only thing needed by the knowledge management, information technology is an important part needed to be concerned of. IT`s most important part in the knowledge management is to sharing knowledge and to speed up the sharing speed. This includes searing, coding, storage, searching and distribute. All these are benefit with the knowledge management goal. It means that knowledge resources within an organization could be transfer to everyone who uses it for decision making. How to use the best adapt technology to build knowledge management system is the main research field of my article. At the same time, I built a knowledge management system based on web model. Using a city fire department's society fire protection and related office works.In an enterprise, the gathering of technology resource could be a danger of the enterprise's development. If we can cut all the jobs into small parts depending on the fluid working management, managing and controlling through kind of software system, then we can distribute the jobs and the dangerous to everyone in the enterprise, making the management more intelligent. Working fluidly with others and fluid management is what I want to say in my article.Relationship database's application is the feature of the traditional MIS system. It deals with structured data and focus` on power of data's calculation and statistics. It's shortness is that client computer has a higher workload and a higher management cost. We can not set up a unique platform on the enterprise's network. It has a poor adapt ability and could only be used in internal information management.Knowledge management system's goal is to distribute, transfer and manage kinds of information and resources within an enterprise based on the traditional MIS working on the working fluid. It can transmit information between independent information service systems. The technology it uses includes working relationship, file database, work fluid management, secure control, multimedia, video net meeting. Using this system, client can receive and distribute information through multimedia method. We need not to care the working space and time limit through Internet connection.This article use the fire protection department's daytime working as the example. Assistant is the center of the working fluid. We built an information transfer network among several departments. Each department has their own information fluid to fulfill their daytime jos. We use Microsoft's products such as mail technology, system design technology when we designed this knowledge management system. This system includes information control, decision making and support Internet/Intranet system. It has two parts in the application:The part facing OA. This part includes the ability with auto office working, such as receive/distribute files, meeting management, email, file management, working fluid management, plat board, network society, file database, communication list, etc.Dealing with working system, using RDBMS as platform, proving data quarry, statistic forms application. This part still use OA as its front working window. Thus we can fulfill both the need of statistic and simple operation.This design used Windows DNA model. This model proves a structure with design, build and reuse software. It has good ability with the hardware. It also has the same way as the Microsoft's .NET strategy. Using Windows 2000 as the platform, SQL Server and WebStore as the back storage, Exchange 2000 as the communication platform, IIS 5.0 as the Web information platform., through Sharepoint Server2000`s powerful distribution, file management and searching engine ability, we built the powerful application.In the knowledge platform, we use Windows Active Directory Domain user name policy as the unique security policy. Thus all the applications, email, network setup, user and group management, security policy management have all the same management window.The usage of Exchange 2000 and Active Directory makes Active Directory as setup information database and mailing system's user information database.Using Active Directory has other system management benefit such as improving system security and searching ability.Knowledge management system's building is a process. It need to be done on the building of information system. We can finish all the knowledge ring by linking all the system together after finishing all the subsystems. We are still building this system nowadays in the real working environment. Graphic-file system's technology, using XML to manage information, including hyperlink's management, all use Microsoft Office 2000 as the tool platform because it support VML language. We need AutoCAD to deal with some hard work. Knowledge management need to deal with two problems: better decision and better communication. We still need time to build a better model. To the enterprise, the best method is to build data warehouse and it could be the destination we need to work for.
