The Establishment Of Financial Domain Ontology And GUI Interface Design

With the rapid development and spread of the Internet, the information on the Internet is increasing with index level everyday, and users of different domain have different demand for information. Various of information demands call our attention to explore continuously on developing and improving information retrieval technique. Traditional information retrieval technique lacks of ability of knowledge processing and comprehending. People are aware of that it is necessary to raise information retrieval technique from key words level to knowledge (concept) level, thus they put forward the concept of knowledge retrieval. Knowledge retrieval emphasize the matching based on knowledge and semantic, so information retrieval based on the knowledge, especially knowledge retrieval based on Web information is the emphases of information retrieval searching, and because Ontology has well concept layer structure and supports reasoning logically, therefore it's widely applied in information retrieval, especially in knowledge retrieval. Any repository's updating can hardly keep up with the growth of web sites and web pages and speed of content's updating. Building domain ontology can concentrate on target and save manpower, material resource and cost, on the other hand it can ensure that the domain information can be embody completely and updated in time. Domain experts understanding the domain deeply is the assurance of building Ontology completely, and Ontology with large scope brings difficult to knowledge modeling and may leads to inconsistent. Knowledge retrieval based on the Ontology is related to repository retrieval , therefore how tocapture the demand of user's query on semantic level based on the defining of domain knowledge in Ontology is the problem of knowledge retrieval based on the Ontology.This author is researching and discussing deeply on knowledge retrieval based on the Ontology under this background , and the work aims at the following points: the building of financial domain ontology; capture the user's query demands on multi property of multi individual; implement the knowledge retrieval and information retrieval based on the repository. According to the author's deeply research and semantic web technique, the author achieve the following there results:Firstly: the author builds up a financial domain ontology, defining and describing important concept and property of financial domain, and so far 500 classes, 260 properties and 1200 individuals have been defined. Based on the practice, the author put forwards three principles on building Ontology.Secondly: the author search deeply the user's query mode, and sum up three major type , eleven sub type query modes, and implements a query arithmetic. The query arithmetic resolves the problem of querying multi properties of multi individuals, and this arithmetic can be applied on above query modes, therefore it can improve the efficiency and accuracy of information retrieval.Thirdly: the author designs and implements a information retrieval system based on the domain ontology and above query arithmetic, makes a test towards the system aim at above query modes and analyses the results. The system implements the query of multi properties of multi individuals,expanding query of imported individual and individual that is queried based on the implement of synonyms technique, query arithmetic and expanding query technique, therefore improves the defect of traditional information retrieval, so it provides scheme that can be borrowed for the semantic web researchers, organizations and groups that research on the Ontology and intelligence searching.
