At present, our country's monitoring instruments for the corrosion degree of oil draining pipes in the equipment of oil production are all imported ones with a high cost. Because of the urgent demands of these oil production companies, we developed the digital monitoring instrument for corrosion degree whose knowledge property right is already possessed by us."An Equipment to Test the Liquid Corrosion to Metal"has already got the national patent; its patent number is 200520095892.4.There is a lot of very corrosive liquid in the pipelining through underground pipes. To guarantee the safety of oil production, people have to know the corrosion degree that liquid makes to oil-transmit pipes. Nowadays, the imported monitoring instruments we adopt are mechanical moving hand instrument, and what they manifest is the wee electric current that corrosive liquid causes to the oil pipes, with which the corrosion degree needs to be computed by the field staff, but not the degree of corrosion itself, it's rather inconvenient.According to the inconvenience and high cost of applying imported instruments as well as the field necessity, we designed the instrument"digital monitoring instrument for corrosion degree".There are three main parts in this thesis: The first part mainly covers the introduction of these application situations of the monitoring instruments for corrosion degree which are being applied home and abroad. And the second one introduces us the design proposal of the digital monitoring instrument for corrosion degree, the operational theory of each circuit, the check and measure of wee electric current and the implementing of the crucial technique I2C bus. At the same time, part three shows us the experiment, debugging of the instrument and the programming.After several months'endeavor, we finished the design and debugging of the instrument. The digital monitoring instrument for corrosion degree makes it possible to reveal corrosion degrees on LCD right in the field. The collected data and the collecting time are to be saved in IC card; they can be put out and transmitted to a computer for the analysis of the corrosion degree through one month or one week so that the field staff can know the working status of pipelining.
