Research And Analysis Of Expressway Information Management System Public Data Platform

Expressway Information Management System is an important basic system of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) in our country. Following with the expansion of expressway net and the increasing of traffic mileage in each province, some problems emerged during the running process of expressway information management system. The problems mainly include the following several aspects: the expressway information management system is composed of many subsystems as charging, road government and monitoring etc, each subsystem runs independently, one of the problems is how to realize the data sharing among these subsystems; all the subsystems are developed step-by-step and the construction period would even take several years long, so how to link the later-developed subsystems into the former-constructed expressway information management rapidly and smoothly is another problem; after running many years, the expressway information management stored numerous data of traffic and road running information, how to further uptake the data and analyze them among the mass data is still another problem.These problems emerged during the expressway construction, meanwhile they enabled us to make further progress on the developed expressway information system. To solve the problems, on one hand, we should develop the expressway information system under the principle of unified planning, unified standard, unified designing and enforce them step-by-step; on the other hand, by applying the technical means, we can develop the public data platform of expressway information system to solve the problems as above.Focusing on the requirement and character of the construction of expressway information management system, we profoundly studied how to guarantee the data sharing among the subsystems and the technical key points to solve the problems. In the thesis, we mainly discuss the following several aspects:1 The running situation and problems existed in the expressway information management system of our country at present.2 Introduce a proposal to solve the problems — Set up a public data platform, define and analyze it.3 Solve the problems emerged in the process of developing public data platform, and discuss the exploitation project.4 As the expressway electric toll subsystem acted as the most important data source and component of data sharing platform, we took the toll subsystem in to account, and analyze how to set up the data platform on the base of existed expressway information management system.
