Research On Core Protocol Stack Of Bluetooth

Bluetooth is a short-range wireless communication technology developing rapidly recently. It was brought forward to replace cables between devices, while it can be used to connect portable devices of all kinds to form a personal wireless LAN. This thesis presents how to implement Bluetooth system and some of its typical profiles on Windows operation system.This paper puts forward a solution for protocol software implementation by addressing the following aspects of protocol engineering:1) SDL DescriptionThis paper describes the HCI protocol formally in SDL. SDL can describe the Bluetooth protocol accurately and be helpful to have a general conception. So we can implement the stack in ANSI C easily and correctly.2) Implementation of HCIBesides the SDL description, this paper gives the implementation solution of HCI in ANSI C. It addresses the portability and efficiency issues from such aspects as architectural design, programming style, compilation environment. Also, this paper puts forward some key-points in the implementation of communication protocol.3) Application DevelopmentApplication development is the key stage of utilization of the research result. We integrated Bluetooth protocol stack with operating system to make it seamlessly.
