Wireless self-organization network is one of the most important technologies in the beyond-3G era, and its performance can be improved by using power control. According to the analysis of the network characteristics, the physical platform is realized, and the realization of clustering and routing protocol is given based on the platform. At the same time, study on power control in wireless self-organization network is made, and an approach of balancing the throughout and delay is advanced.This thesis is organized as follows:1, According to the basic concept of the wireless self-organization network, we analyze the functions of the mobile self-organization network and put forward a feasible system solution, on which the physical platform is fulfilled, then we develop the corresponding drivers including USB controller drivers of the host and device and the driver of the wireless network adapter. We introduce how to carry out the clustering and routing protocol in wireless self-organization network based on the platform, and the experiment testify the system plan can meet the requirements of the self-organization network.2, We analyze the relevant research on power control in Ad Hoc networks, and conclude the laws between the power level and the throughput as well as the network load and the network delay. An approach of balancing the throughout and delay is proposed and the power control with clustering adapted to the network load and simulation results demonstrate the performance improvement.
