Along with the rapid development of the modern laser technology, the application of laser-induced blinding weapons are more and more widespread in the military. The paper briefly introduced the how did laser damage the persons eyes, and elaborated the anti-laser damaged coating principle both in thin film theory and thin film design theory. The laser anti-damaged coatings were designed and optimized to protect eyes from damaged against the Nd:YAG laser of the working wavelength at 532nm and 1064nm. The frequency-doubled coatings were introduced to get a high reflectance at 532nm and 1064nm. The materials were used as Ta2O5 andSiO2 and prepared by the Integrity-36 full automatic vacuum coating machine, with the electron beam and the ion assistance system. We tested the spectrum characteristic with UV3100PC spectrophotometer. The methods of improving the anti-damaged threshold were studied through both design and preparation. And showed the ultimate design curves and the measured curves. |
