In each kind of industry system, there generally exists time delay phenomenon. the correspondence system, the transmission system, the chemical engineering process system, the metallurgy process system., the environment system, the electric power system etc., are all typical time delay systems .Stability and performance are always the key issue in the control theory and control engineering, so the study of delay system attracts considerable attention in the control theory literature. exactly because of the time delay systems actual in a great deal of existence and the difficulty of analysis and control, the control of time delay systems is hot in control theories application, this paper according to Lyapunov stability theories and the control theories in time delay systems, use linear matrix inequality (LMI, introduce some methods and result of robust analytical and comprehensive, research to the stability of the system and control the problem in time delay systems .The background of the research into stability and stabilization of time delay system is introduced in this paper. Some basic notions of LMI and LMI toolbox are introduced. this paper invert the stability of time delay systems to judge feasibility solution of linear matrix inequality(LMI), linear matrix inequality can apply the tool box of LMI to solve very conveniently. This paper made some summaries and certificate of delay-independent and delay-dependent stability according to the LMI stability condition. This paper carries on robust stabilization, state and output feedback controller is designed according to the linear matrix inequality. The advantage of this method lies in the design method that can get the controller with the direct matrix operation. Combined to calculate example to emulate correspond result. The results of numerical examples show that the methods given in this paper are effective.
