Differentiated Services Of External Visit On Multi-output Intranet

With the appearances of many multimedia applies via network such as video conference, video frequency, IP phone and tel-education, the Bussiness volume of Internet grows very quickly. Traditional "Best effort" services can't meet the users' requirement. So, IP QoS becomes an important issue. Various of QoS networks architectures are provided by international organization, research centers, universities and companies.This thesis is under such background that we present the topic of our work. First we analyze current technology of Differential Services: expatiate the Pros and Cons of DiffServ model and MPLS protocol and introduce queuing management arithmetic and congestion avoidance arithmetic. Then I analyze the characteristic of external visit on multi-output Intranet; put forward a cheap solution (CMODSS) base on current technology. Implement strategy routing and differentiated services with common PCs. Users can choose different policy (TOS / Output) based on the need of resource.This thesis implements differentiated services system client side with Windows NDIS IM driver and server side with Linux Netfilter architecture. The system has passed the testing and reached the expected result. At last, this thesis analyses this project in systemic view, proposes some work in the future.
