The development of the non-standard parallel communication bus simulation interface has the vital significance to research on the fire control electronic installation in some airplane. The electronic module system parallel bus (QBus) and MⅢ parallel bus are two kind of special-purpose data communication bus used in the fire control electronic installation in some airplane. They are both main research objects of the fire control electronic installation in some airplane. Because these two kinds of bus are non-standard bus, and it lacks research data concerned at home, domestic research to these two kinds of bus nearly is zero. It is urgent need that developing a set of simulation interface system conformed to data traffic protocols of the QBus bus and the MⅢ bus. The system can carry on communication to the QBus bus interface and the MⅢ bus interface in the fire control electronic installation, and monitor to the data and the address on these two bus.Firstly, this paper analyzes the composition of the simulation interface. According to the requirement analyzing of the QBus bus and the MⅢ bus, then it presents the performance requirement and the technical specification of the QBus bus interface board, the MⅢ bus interface board and the radar pulse board, and designs overall structure of the three boards.This paper discusses the relative technology during developing this simulation interface. In view of the complexity of the QBus bus and the MⅢ bus, this paper uses the VHDL to take the main description method, and carries on three functions (master equipment, slave equipment and monitor) of the interface board using FPGA. This scheme not only effectively enhances the reusing efficiency of the design, but also strengthens stability and extension of the system.This paper analyzes the two schemes to design PCI interface after discussing the PCI local bus technology. According to actual instance, such as cost and time limit, this paper finally decides to use the special-purpose chip to design PCI interface, and completes the transplant from the interface board based on ISA bus to the interface board based on PCI bus.This paper in detail elaborates the design of the QBus interface board and the MⅢ interface board, and designs the method which implements two interface boards through downloading different procedure to FPGA in single board.
