At present, the bionic design and manufacture of synthetic bone is the research focus home and abroad. Because synthetic bone's structure design become more complex and need higher biological activity ,former design method have low efficiency ,bad biological activity, low survive rate when plant into human bone, so its very difficult to design the bone in large piece ,in addition, the former method is not conducive to the accumulation of experience and knowledge reuse. Therefore, the problem of how to establish a perfect bone structure design system, and achieving the external contour formation and internal microstructure formation, enhance the efficiency and biological activity of bone structure designed, has become a key issue in current research.In view of the aforementioned problems, this paper analyzed the current situation and development trend of the synthetic bone structure design. To combine with the biomedical reality, bring forward the concept of knowledge based three-dimensional bionic structure design of the synthetic bone, and studied the knowledge engineering and bone structure design theory. With the study of knowledge engineering design, stress analyzed knowledge acquisition knowledge representation and knowledge base in knowledge engineering besides the application in system. With the study of the synthetic bone structure design, discussed synthetic bone structure design theory and how to use of these methods to the design of three-dimensional structure of the bone.In the theory aforementioned, by analyses the connection between synthetic bone structure design and knowledge base, construct a knowledge-based three-dimensional synthetic bone bionic structure design model, and analyzed its development process, discussed the system structure and function modules, both the bone structure of external contour formation and Knowledge-based design of the internal structure,were analyzed and designed with stress.Finally, this paper use .NET, UG and database technology, developed prototype system, external contour formation, internal microstructure design, import data into CAD software to operate and other function were also realized. From the operation of knowledge-based three-dimensional structure of the bionic bone design system, it has more practical use, high operational flexibility, high intelligence, greatly improved the quality and efficiency of the synthetic bone structure design.
