Due to the more and more drastic competition, every commercial bank starts to emphasis the works into how to improve business process modes. According to the computer technology development, electronic process, business centralization, cheque truncation, process re-engineering and other areas have become research hotspots in the financial industry. By transferring electronic data within financial organizations, rather than physical cheques transmission, not only work efficiency can be greatly increased, but also it will be benefit to optimize the business processes.The most basic requirement for electronic image transmission is the security, including the secrecy, integrality and authentication for electronic images. The proposal mentioned in the document is to use advanced encryption standard to realize the data secrecy, to use Secure Hash Algorithm to ensure the data integrality and to use elliptic curve cipher system for the data source authentication. These secured algorithms have been deeply studied and are introduced in the thesis. Meanwhile, the advantages of them comparing to other algorithms are explained as well.Since images may be transferred within various departments, even among various banks, the universality is one of the important objectives for transmission proposal. Current popular Web Service Technology has been studied and introduced in the thesis. By applying the technology into electronic image transmission, a proposal can be used cross platforms, networks and no limitation for areas.
