The Research Of The Rule Engine Of The Business Rule Management Systerm-ILOG JRules

Today, because of the society's rapid improvement, the development of the information system is more and more complex and the business logic changes and revises more and more frequently. Products have no longer satisfied the demand of the society's development, which are developed in the tradition information system. Under this background, the appearance of business rule management development mode will change the development mode of the traditional software project completely.After analyzing the faced problems of traditional business system, this article introduced the business rule management technology and the business rule management system briefly. The business rule management system is a huge and complex system, so its research is a long-term process. Therefore, this article has researched the business rule engine thoroughly, which is the core module of the management system. In the following chapters, this article analyzed the business engine realization mechanism, comparing with the JSR-94 standard, based on the analysis of the rule engine basic composition. It summarized the international apex engine product's outstanding points through the comparison between different popular rule engine products. After analyzing the ILOG JRules' sequential algorithm, with the research of the Rete algorithm, it proposed some improvement opinions for the Rete algorithm. Took the transportation line real-time management system based on the business rule management system as an example, introduced how to apply the business rule management system to the software project, and described the rule engine's working process in system through the example. It proposed the business rule management system expansion in military applications finally.
