High Accuracy Image Measurement Technique

The technology of image measurement is a newly rising technology in the domain of the measurement recent years. It is based on optics, and melts with optoelectronics, computer technology, laser technology, image processing and other modern science technology, so it forms a complex measurement system with those modern technologies. In conclusion, image measurement is a new measurement method, which is used to be means or carrier of detecting and conveying information.In order to meet the measuring requirements of the modern artillery, some technologies of the high precision of image measurement are deeply analyzed and studied in this paper, combined with the scientific research project known as the artillery static parameter testing system.Based on image, the system scheme of the high precision image measurement, the design of software and hardware, especially the key technologies of improving the precision of measurement using software have been researched further.In order to improve the precision of image measurement, based on the mixed image of drone and facula, the paper put up the double threshold image segmentation arithmetic, the self-adaptive parting arithmetic of homocentric circle detection, curve best fitting arithmetic of facula, the image distortion correction arithmetic.This paper also presented the edge thinned method based on Sobel. It will improve the edge locating precision and improve the calculating speed. In order to realize the higher precision of image measurement, this paper deeply studied the typical sub-pixel location arithmetic at border of image, presented sub-pixel location arithmetic based on Gauss Curve fitting and interpolation in the gradient direction. The decision came to sub-pixel level.
