Conventional transceiver depends on hardware much more.The emergence of software radio results in transceiver's renovation. The basic idea is to sample RF signal, process the digital signal by installing diferent softwares to implement different functions on a high-speed DSP platform.Due to the limitation of device level,it is difficult to sample RF signal in direct now,and we take account of the middle project---sampling IF signal,using general chips to build the intermediate frequency module.This paper discusses the realization of the digital intermediate frequency module in software radio system.Firstly it expatiates on the theory of software radio,discussing the multirate signal processing, digital up/down converting(DUC/DDC), digital signal modulation/demodulation and the basic principles of a frequency-hopping communication system.Then on the basis of those,a scheme of the system is given, and the hardware circuits is built with appropriate chips,and the regists of DUC/DDC chips are well configured.In succession, it discusses the software programme design steps and development flow,the scheme of later accessing synchronization is put forward.In the end,the program is debugged and tested,and the performance of synchronization is well.At the same time,the RC5 algorithm and the copy of key are finished in the frequency-hopping communication system.
