This article aimed at handle the key skills in ink-jet technology, discover the principle of ink-jetting process through analysis the key problems during ink jetting processure, in order to further developed printing quality and speed. First, the numerical model based on a one-dimensional heat conduction equation, an equilibrium press-temperature relation, energy and mass conservation relations. The heat conduction equation is used to represent the energy transfer between the bubble and the surrounding liquid, as well as the temperature distribution in the liquid-gas interface layer. The pressure-temperature relation is used to consider the growth and the collapse of the bubble. Second, using the nucleation theory is used to analyse the probability of nucleation. Finally, parameters in ink-jet precoss are analysed through simulation of the model combined with nucleation thoery. The bubble generation temperature, initial pressure and the operation parameters are discussed in this model. The result provides a basic guide to the design of bubble jet printers.
