The design and realization of two typical kinds of digital signal sources is mainly explored in this paper. In the design of signal generation circuits based on memories, the Direct Digital Frequency Synthesis (DDS) technology is adopted. The basic theory and characteristics of DDS are introduced in detail. A low spurious DDS framework and its realization in FPGA are discussed. In the design of signal source circuits based on processors, the generation and transport of wave data is the point. The interface between link port and FPGA is designed to abbreviate the bus collisions in a multi-DSP system that has a shared system bus. In the hardware design of digital signal sources, the anti-interference and reliableness design of a PCB is studied deeply. The solutions to clocks'synchronization in multi-channel high speed DAC system are paid special attention.
