As the construction of China's high-speed passenger dedicated railway, the infomationization of high-speed railway has become a pressing task. Electric Motor Unit (EMU for short) overhaul is an important part of passenger dedicated lines operation and an important measure to enhance the safety of train running. To construct an information system for EMU Overhaul Base felicitously, is important to improve the efficiency of EUM overhaul, ensure trains'safe running, enhance passenger dedicated railway operation ability and decrease the cost of railway operation. This essay analyzed the infomationization situation of foreign high-speed railway and China's railway, passenger dedicated railway's operation frame and the characteristic of EMU overhaul, then analyzes the EMU overhaul work and information in EMU overhaul, according to the principle of expansible and maintainable, presents the requirement analysis and system design of information system for EMU Overhaul Base. This paper is mainly focus on the Node Engine and its mechanism which is designed for process management of EMU Overhaul Base. Also Node Model is designed to describe the key tache of EMU overhaul.
