The Research And Design Of The Embedded Image Monitoring System Based On Web

Image monitoring system is an important part of security industry. Now, general monitoring systems are mainly based on personal computers. These systems have many disadvantages, such as poor extending capability, small monitoring area, lack of auto-alarm and so on.This paper proposes an intelligent network image monitoring system based on embedded web server. In the new system, the monitoring server is embedded in the web server and connected to Internet by Ethernet interface. So, this system has its own IP address and embedded operating system. Each equipment is marked by IP address in the system which can achieve non-gap extension. The users can easily operate the monitoring system by Browser. Firstly, introduce the development of monitoring system. Then, introduce the theory of embedded system and the configuration of the network image monitoring system based on embedded Web server. In the end, study the software and hardware of each part of the system. ARM processor and Linux operating system are used in the system to construct the embedded Web server based on TCP/IP. Long-distance transmission of monitoring data is achieved by Ethernet.This system has been installed in the experiment building. Testing results demonstrate that the performance of the system attains the demands. The system has high practical value and contributes to the development of security industry.
