Research On Data Integration Platform Based On Active Service

Along with the development and popularization of network technology and distribution application, a large number of heterogeneous data source comes into being, which results to 'Information Island'. In order to make use of these resource better, we urgently need to resolve the integration problem of these heterogeneous data source.In order to utilize information effectively, we need to integrate data from a lot of distribution, heterogeneous and autonomic data source. At the same time, we still need to keep the integrality and consistency of data under different system. Otherwise, we must hide the difference, and provide a uniform and transparent data access interface. The importance of the research is to establish a kind of integration method of heterogeneous data source, which has the universal meaning and is operated easily. That is the platform of distribution heterogeneous data source which bases on the active service.In order to design and realize the platform of distribution heterogeneous data source which bases on the active service, I had done some research as follows:Did some research on the traditional data integration method, compared with the advantage and shortcoming and the suitable spectrum of every method, and chose Web Services as the method of data integration.Constructed data integration platform based on the active service on the base of SOADid research on the key technology of creating,describing, distributing, registration service and data combination. Resolved the semantic heterogeneous problem in the distribution heterogeneous data integration, combining with ontology technology.Studied the method of implement active service, and defined the spring condition of active service.Constructed the development environment of data integrating platform, based on active service in the base of Axis,Protégé2000, Jena and Eclipse. Used ontology to resolve data heterogeneous problem and utilize Web Service to realize data integration. Validated the feasibility of settling semantic heterogeneous based on data integrating service method effectively.
