| The customer and facilities information of public supply networks (electricity, gas, drainage), telecommunications network management, are closely related to their geographical location and spatial distribution, especially as the development of urban, and the increasing laying of various pipelines, the spatial conflict is getting tighter and tighter, many units are still using traditional paper maps marking and semi-manual methods are far from being able to meet the requirements. Therefore, the development of an computer software systems which meet industry characteristics, combine the graphics technology and database management technologies, graphics and text , has become an urgent need.The geographic information systems (GIS), as a future-oriented "Digital Earth" key technology, has provided a proven method to address these issues.This paper, taking the development of cable television fees and facilities management information system project of Guangxi Normal University as the background, according to the operational characteristics and requirements, explored in the management information system (MIS), seamless integration into geographic information systems (GIS) technology from concept AM/FM/GIS system to MapX technology-based components.The conteats include system architecture and functional design, the cable network to establish and maintain data models, professional analysis, graphics editing and exporting operations of the main functions of the principles, conclusion and outlook.Focus will be on the description of the object-oriented design methodology , abstract out object data models from the network facilities , and turn into relations model, realize the creating and maintaining network facilities topological relations, and various professional analysis functions which based on this basis.The system makes the management of cable users and facilities more visual, dynamic, and efficient, its design ideas in sectors such as pipelines have referential value. |
