As one important part of auto-control system, microactuator is attracting more and more attention from scholars inland and overseas. The present microactuator can hardly satisfy the requirements of microdisplacement, big force and big stroke at the same time. However, microactuator drove by electromagnetic force can solve this problem in some extent.Linear motion is widely used in industry automation .Without special mechanical adjustments, electromagnetic microactuator get linear motion directly. With a number of benefits including fast response and high precision, it will have wide application prospect.This paper analyses the characteristics of electric magnetic drive. Based on this, microactuator drove by electric magnetic force is contrived and produced, and microactuator static state and control experiment equipment is produced, and the static state and control properties of electromagnetic microactuator are analyzed. In this dissertation, the driving and controlling of electromagnetic microactuator is introduced. The main contents and innovative points include:(1) Performance parameters of different kind of microactuator are introduced.(2) The movement principle, mechanical structure design, the controlling system and character testing experiments of electromagnetic microactuator are expatiated in emphasis. In structure design, high- performance Nd-Fe-B is adopted as moving part and the magnetic coil is designed. As to controlling system, the signal from computer is output to power amplified circuit and the loaded to electromagnetic microactuator. The software is programmed with C language.(3) The movement procedure of electromagnetic microactuator is analyzed in detailed.(4) Made elementary control on the microactuator and acquired comparatively satisfying effect, proved its feasibility in the application of microactuator.
