Ad Hoc is a new wireless communication technology. An Ad Hoc network is a collection of wireless mobile nodes dynamically forming a temporary network without the use of any existing network infrastructure or centralized administration. Mobile nodes communicate with each other randomly using multi-hop wireless links in Ad Hoc network. But the routing always cut. There are so many challeges in Ad Hoc network such as routing protocol, network capacity and power saving are. In this paper, we mainly work on two aspects.First, we work on routing protocol and cluster arithmetic in order to using the new routing protocol in large scale Ad Hoc network.Second, we present a cluster routing protocol Q-AODV with self-adaptive power control strategy which can save the energy consume and reduce the interference between mobile nodes in the network. In chapter 1, the overview of Ad Hoc network such as the background, develop, characteristic is given. Some important conceptions will be introduced such as research content in the dometics and overseas, and the mostly research content. In chapter 2, the key technique is analysed such as the system frame, technique difficulties and the apply situations. In chapter 3, we work on the routing protocol, such as on-demand routing protocol and table-drived routing, the cluster routing and the flat routing and so on.In chapter 4, we work on the NS2 software. The developing and using of NS2 in the Ad Hoc network is introduced particularly. In chapter 5, the paper introduce the AODV,AODV-C,Q-AODV routing protocol, and compare the simulate performance using the NS2 software. In the last chapter, the paper gives a whole summary and future view.
