Recent years we have witnessed the rapid development of the Internet and telecommunication techniques. More and more information is transmitted through the Internet. It is often thought that communications may be secured by encrypting the traffic, but this has rarely been adequate in practice, so the study of the communication security includes not just encryption but also traffic security, whose essence lies in hiding information. In this case, information hiding has become an emerging research area that contains applications such as copyright protection for digital media watermarking, fingerprinting, and so on.According to the different fields which the secret message works in, the information hiding methods are divided into the space field method and transformation field method. Using the two methods above separately, there exists difficulty with restoring the shortcoming, when meeting the bit attack, which will cause the copyright protection of multimedia digital product into a question.In order to solve this problem, this article proposes a kind of method based on the LDPC coded digital image information hiding algorithm, to carry on the LDPC coded for the secret message which is inserted in the cover message image. Because the LDPC code has the very strong error correction ability , this algorithm overcomes the defects of the traditional space field and the transformation field methods when they meet the bit attacks, especially under the strong bit attack situation, the secret message error rate is still in particular low, and could restore the secret message image with approximate no damage.This paper proposes a new information hiding scheme in images via LDPC coding. Generally, resisting the bits attacking is nearly impossible for the conventional information hiding system. In this article Low-density parity check codes are introduced into the information hiding system because of the better performance of their own. We provide the information hiding system based on the LDPC coding as well as the belief propagation decoding algorithm, and analyze the performance of the results. The proposed algorithm has the space field method'advantages: simple and quick. The proposed method is easy to be realized.
