The Research Of Coordinating Control Method Of Discipline Journal Groups

Scientific journal system is an open system concerning with contributing, reviewing, depositing, publishing and service processes of scientific journals and it reflects science and technology development as well as scientific production so it is important for advancement of science and technology. Publication delay is a period between contribution and publication, a long period of publication delay has negative impact on science and technology development and scientific production transformation. This paper refers to discipline journal groups, does some research on reducing publication delay by coordinating control method.This paper analyzes the relationship between discipline journal group and its sub-jounal by systemaology, defines discipline journal group and elicits four basic characters of its. By establishing physical model of discipline journal group, we conclude three main factors concerning with discipline journal groups publication delay and ultimately gains mathematical models by qualitative analysis. With the concept of journal average publication delay, we use the indicator of discipline journal groups—discipline average publication delay to macroscopically estimate development of a discipline.Based on this academic foundation, the paper introduces discipline journal groups coordinating control process, establishes control object and publication delay control model. Then we set mathematic journal group of our country as an example to do simulation research. Some conclusinons are drawn by analysising simulation curves of deposited age, deposited quantity and average publication delay. Finally this paper discusses the macroscopical management strategy of scientific journal system and gives some advices on reducing publication delay.To summarize, this paper, from macroscopical point of view, analysis the mechanism and coordinating control process and methods of discipline journal groups, establishes academic frame for it and provides foundation for scientific journal system research. The simulation result shows that the coordinating control of mathematic journal group reaches control object. This paper provides some advices on scientific journal system management.
