Based on the summary of the fruits of the research of the Active Power Factor Correction, the PFC system, which adopts Boost power converter circuit and Average Current Mode control scheme, is well studied in this thesis. The main job accomplished of this paper includes: According to the principle and the discussion of the single-phase active power correction, the PFC system, which adopts Boost power converter circuit and Average Current Mode control scheme is indicated as the developing direction of PFC and regarded as the PFC system structure. The origin and evolvement of Boost converter are introduced and the voltage and current waveforms of every period are analyzed and presented. The Boost circuit is analysed and a practice circuit using UC3854 is designed in this paper.It Also design the parameters such as L1,L2,C1,C2accronding to the validate. The power factor develop much better.Because the circuit is a rigidity circuit, it is difficult to simulate,so I constitute the main function module of the circuit. It simulate the whole circuit based on the module. It difficult to build the simulation model because the PFC circuit is a rigidity circuit. When we build the model of the circuit, I just build the main function models of the circuit, such as soft startup circuit, concussive circuit, voltage error amplifier, current error amplifier and so on. I use the sub circuit program in MATLAB, the assistant digital model and the parameter import with describing language and complete the simulate. The example validate the feasibility of that scheme.
