A multitude of very complex digital signals can be generated by high-speed data generator. Programmable data signal can be provided as resources in the area of communication, radar, navigation, space, and so on. Waveform generator based on Digital Synthesis has a series of particular virtues, including the stable frequency of output, high quality waveform and wide modulation bandwidth, which is an important trend of study of Arbitrary Waveform Generator. Digital Synthesis is advanced technique on frequency synthesis, whose primary advantages are controlling facility, continuous phase and fine frequency resolution. This paper introduces in detail the reason of DDS phase noise, and gives the method of reducing the noise.To complete the paper, we need the digital chip of high-speed and high character. In the paper, TSEV86101G2B made in ATmel is selected. The configuration, characteristic and how to use it will be introduced in detail. Nyquist sampling theorem is adopted when using digital waveform generator. The digital waveform generator choosed is composed of high-speed memory and high speed DAC that is controlled by computer. To improve system frequency and signal bandwidth in research, Matlab tool is made to carry out function simulation.This dissertation describes the design of the Data Generator, which includes data loading circuit, high speed data generating circuit and periphery circuit design. Some key techniques the generator would be used are introduced in the paper, author also presents the signal reconstruction theory.The main work of the dissertation include:(1)The working process of the high-speed data generator and the functions of its circuits.(2)With a view to the generation of the high speed data, this dissertation introduces function the circuit needing to complete and the arithmetic of Signal Reconstruction.(3)Principle of the data loading circuit, generating circuit of high-speed data and output control and technical indexes are introduced in detail.
