In the wake of rapid development of the railway, the overload and partial load measurement of rail freight is of crucial importance in the railway security sphere. Therefore, whether the status of the wheel-scan force between wheels and rail is accurately obtained means much guiding significance for the accidents caused by unsafe load problems. Nevertheless, in the previous research of the project, the main task focused on with what kind of methods and means to solve the problem. As a result, method of voltage transmission was adopted without considering the needs of the difficulties of long-distance transmission in engineering application. Consequently, the stability and repeatability of the signals collected were not very satisfactory. Hence, it is quite necessary to design a more reasonable detection system fit for the situation of long-distance transmission and it means a lot for its practical application. The prime issues of the thesis include the following:1) According to the engineering application demand of wheel-scan force detection, the interference and corresponding solution between each parts of detection system was discussed and analyzed. A integrated sensor conditioning chip was selected to design a kind of signal conditioning circuit, which could enable signal to complete long-distance transmission as current form.2) With the platform of MATLAB software, data acquisition control program was designed aiming at the achievement of data acquisition, storage and graphic display for the subsequent analysis experiment.3) Under the laboratory condition, the length of signal transmission line was enlarged for a simulation of the real long-distance circumstance. A series of experiments was done to test the performance of the detection circuit and the flexibility under long-distance condition.
