In order to reduce the cost of entMISrise and improve economical benefit, the spinning quality could be forecasted. In this paper, by BP neural network, the model of forecasting spinning quality is constructed, and the data warehouse, which is about the spinning quality forecast, is also designed. Using the related theory and the method of software development, the realization carried on system design, database design, functional design and software code design to the system, based on the requirements analysis of the distributing cotton technics system. The system has used the modular design ideas, with the characteristic of friendly surface, convenient operating, and effect being good for users.The paper mainly conducted the several aspects of research as follows:Outlined some foundation concepts of the neural network, and emphatically analyzed the BP algorithm which is used in this paper. In order to overcome the shortcomings of the standard BP algorithm, some improvement was proposed. Meanwhile some research achievements had been summarized about approaching and generalization ability of the multilayer forward neural network, which was rationale for the next modeling.Massive actual historical data was saved in the MIS system, which was a source of neural networks for training samples. In order to enhance quality and efficiency of the sample training, the database was designed to forecast the spinning quality, by checking and screen the data according to the characteristics of the data gathered. And then the BP neural network model was constructed, and the corresponding results of simulation were brought forward with the analysis of the data.According to the requirements analysis of the distributing cotton technics system, main duty and the realization goal were confirmed. Based on the concept and the principle of software design, the functional design of the system was completed. Considering the basic design principle of the database system and the requirements analysis, the concept design, logical design, physical design of database and interface design with other subsystem databases were implemented, applying the store process to solving the complex affairs.Based on the basic criterion for choosing programming language with software development, and the existing company software and hardware, various functional modules of the distributing cotton technics system were implemented, and the question related to system running was solved, which were all developed by Delphi 7.0 as application development facility, and Microsoft SQL Server 2000 as Database Management System on Windows Operating System.
