Along with the strengthening of the complexity and scale of the information system structure, various enterprise-level applications developed rapidly. Three-tiered or multi-tiered distributed system basing on the middleware became more and more popular, and the middleware has became one key technology of the distributed application of enterprise. After analyzing many mainstream middleware technologies, this thesis discussed the transaction middleware technology on some aspects: At first, based on reading and analyzing abundant of related materials, summarizations are made on the current development of multi-tiered distributed system and middleware, as well as the concepts and function of them. Then, Designed a model of transaction system, which is made up of communication process, transaction process and service process. Furthermore, a general protocol of application layer is designed aiming at the characteristic of the transaction system; At last, Designed a simple transaction middleware basing on the transaction system model and realized part of the key technologies. Based on the comparison of different platform technologies, the three-tiered application system structure of J2EE platform is adopted. The application service, message system and database interface utilized the Weblogic service, JMS service and DBC pool connection technology respectively. It is easy to lead the inconsistency of transaction data between service and client owing to the unreliability of the network, which may bring on the risk of fund and credit on the service side. In allusion to the problem, after illustrating various transaction modes and the integrity protecting mechanism, a scheme of insuring the transaction integrity—a new process method as combining lock with auto validating/correcting is proposed, whose primary task is to control the risk.
