Data Mining is a frontier area in information and database technology, and it is commonly considered as one of the key technologies with great prospects. Since it involves such aspects as statistics, fuzzy theory, neutral network and artificial intellegnece, Data Mining is high in technical grade and difficult to be realized.Association rule technology is one of the most important components of Data Mining and it can be used in detecting the meaningful relevance and associations between the item sets of mass data.On the basis of a comprehensive introduction of the concept of Data Mining, this thesis elaborates on the basic concept of association rule mining, its process and method of calculation. The thesis also puts forward the idea of the realization of data partition by employing the method of Fast Clustering Algorithm, the realization of association rule mining and the relevant rule mining in incremental data by using the improved FP-growth method. The purpose of doing so is to improve the data mining efficiency in large data base.As one of the advanced management modes, human resources management is receiving an adequate attention from various fields. In the face of a sea of data, human resources management requires a technology to locate valuable knowledge so as to provide decision-making support in talents development strategy. Based on the human resources data of Ningbo University, the thesis conducts a relevance data analysis through preprocessing and by applying Visual C++ 6.0 and Oracle9i data base technology. By doing so, visualization can be achieved and some valuable information can be detected.In the last chapter, the thesis discusses the methodologies on how to further the research.
