Universities in the 21st century the competition in the final analysis is the talent competition, private colleges, as a kind of emerging during the past 20 years, our country important teaching body, personnel management plays a decisive role in its development, or even directly determines the development situation of colleges and universities. Since the 1960 s, with the progress of computer and network technology, database technology’s rapid development and extensive use, many colleges and universities have used their technology at home and abroad set up more perfect and scientific personnel management information system, and in the process of the application of long-term accumulated a lot of, and complete data. By personnel management information system, colleges and universities can be effective to the personnel information to add, delete, check, change management operations, and can through the system quickly to export all kinds of statistical reports and data query, greatly improve the efficiency of the traditional personnel management work, greatly reduce the work intensity of the management staff. But currently used most engaged in the management information system is not able to dig through the existing personnel data and extract more valuable information, and then work for personnel management decision provides the basis for scientific and effective. By using a series of data mining technology in data mining in large database or data warehouse and extract the people interested and meaningful data. Association rules is an important technology of data mining, in simple terms association rules are mainly divided into two steps to connect and pruning step, through association rules in data mining can be hidden in these connections between data or programs, and then forecasts for business development and decision making meaningful conclusion. Through association rules, as it happens can satisfy the modern personnel management information system provide decision-making basis for the personnel management policy and working requirements.At first, this paper studies the basic concepts and related data mining algorithms, including the association rule, clustering algorithms, classification algorithm and association rules are introduced, and focus on the association rules and the classic Apriori algorithm is analyzed. By analyzing the Apriori algorithm, in view of its may repeatedly scan the transaction database, the shortcomings of enormous candidate itemsets, choose a kind of the Apriori improved algorithm is applied to the research of this paper.This paper completed the private colleges and universities personnel management information system of module construction work, combining the reality of school environmental factors, decided to use C/S structure to build the system, and the use of improved Apriori algorithm in the system, after obtaining the candidate itemsets, eliminate redundant data, such as frequent itemsets steps, eventually won the system using personnel of related transaction decision-making useful association rules. Personnel related in this paper, using the collected data, the departure of staff such as age, educational background, professional title, position, salary information with the school hours, the relationship between to schools in developing teaching staff stability, teacher training and other related policy provides a relatively objective decision-making basis.
