Students Education For All-around Development Evaluation System Based On Association Rule

Association rule mining from education information system is one of the most popular fields of data mining, It is urgent that how to mine significative association rules, which are applied to students education for all-around development evaluation system from a great deal of education informations.Association rule is a very useful knowledge pattern in databases. More and more attention is paid on the algorithms for mining association rules. FP-growth is a classical algorithm applied to find the frequent item sets in the databases. Combined with the practical application of mining association rules in students' information databases, the steps and methods of mining association rule are explored.The major contribution are as follows:1. The applications of data mining, the basic theories and methods of mining association rule are discussed;2. After research the FP-growth, an improved FP-growth algorithm based on single link has been proposed. The advantages of the algorithm, when they are used in the denseness data sets and the sparseness data sets, are discussed in the expriments and theories.3. The association rule mining of students' education for all-around development evaluation system has been realized. Specific works are shown: the analysis of some instances, the collection of the original datas, the realization of the data preprocess, the transform of the relation database to the transaction database; mining frequent itemsets by FPS-growth algorithm is implement. Finally, students' education for all-around development evaluation system proved FPS-growth effectively.
