In daily management of GSM Wireless Network, people found that there are some rules hinting in mass alarms data of GSM wireless devices. Those rules are useful in daily management of GSM Wireless Network, which can help worker to filter alarms, locate faults and reduce the fault period. With the fast development of telecommunication network, the traditional management and control method is no longer fit for the fast development of GSM Wireless Network. It is inefficient and inaccurate to mine rules through experience. People look for a new solution to the problem. The paper, using three-month alarm data, is mainly discussed the application of association rule mining in management of GSM Wireless Network. In the paper, an alarm analyzing system will be researched and designed, which would be helpful in mining rules of alarm efficiently and accurately. The outcome of system will be used in the management of GSM Wireless Network, such as guiding the people and other software system to filter alarms, locate fault and so on.The paper, firstly, gives a summary of research background. Afterwards, it introduces GSM Wireless Network and the management system which is the background system of subject investigated.Secondly, the paper analyzes and chooses the concrete data-mining technology and arithmetic. After that it researches and improves FP-Growth arithmetic, according to the feature of subject investigated.Based on the improved arithmetic, the paper researches and designs alarm analyzing system. In the meantime, it gives the details of designing. At last, the paper discusses the application of the system in fault management of GSM Wireless Network.
